The Game
This year's game is titled "Just Plane Crazy." It is a competition in which four robots are on a game field and must manipulate pieces and assemble a model aircraft from those pieces they collect. Once assembled, the plane is hung on rods which are meant to simulate flight. The field is divided into different zones, including the "warehouse," where airplane parts are acquired, an "assembly area," where the parts are assembled, and a "testing area," where the planes are hung. Points are scored for complete assembly of the aircraft and hanging the plane on different height levels of the "testing area."

The Techno Titans have been working feverishly to complete the robot and BEST Award on schedule. Each meeting's accomplishments are documented and made available on the Meeting Minutes page.
The Techno Titans attended the BEST 2008 Kick-off at Southern Polytechnic State University. After the kick-off, members held a session to review the game and begin brainstorming ideas for this years game.
