Annual Summer Camp
SUMMER CAMP 2019
We are no longer accepting sign ups through the regular forms. If you are still interested please email us (northviewrobotics@technotitans.org) and we will see if we have enough supplies to accommodate you.
This year, we will have two weeks dedicated to teaching two different summer camp groups. Week 1 will be a Robotics/STEM Camp and Week 2 will be an FLL (FIRST Lego League) camp.
At the robotics/STEM camp, attendees will participate in a variety of activities individually, and in groups. They will learn about the basics of mechanical design, the engineering design process, electrical wiring, and programming using an Arduino. Each participant will be building and competing with a remote controlled car. Varsity team members will be working with and assisting everyone through the tasks and activities. At the end of the week, there will be a competition and awards will be handed out. All materials will be provided and each attendee will get to take home their own car!
The robotics/STEM camp will be from July 15 - 19, 8 AM to 4 PM.
At the FLL camp, attendees will participate in a variety of activities individually, and in groups, learning the basics of Lego, different mechanisms, and programming using the Lego programming software. They will also learn the basics of mechanical design, the engineering design process, simplistic wiring, and programming. This camp will greatly aid in preparing students for the upcoming FLL season.
The FLL camp will be from July 22 - 26, 8 AM to 4 PM.
There will be some snacks will be provided throughout the day and lunch breaks at 12pm (please bring your own lunch) during both camps. Students are required to bring their own laptops (if this is not possible email us at northviewrobotics@technotitans.org and we can provide a laptop).

SUMMER CAMP 2018
Attendees created a variety of STEM related projects, individually and in groups. They learned about the science concepts involved, and then they used the engineering process to design and construct their products. Along the way, they worked with and learned from varsity robotics team members. At the end of each day, there was a competition with awards.
Thank you to all of our sponsors, and a special thank you to True North Real Estate for hosting our camp at their office!
