On March 1-2, we competed at the PCH District Gainesville at Riverside Prep Academy. After the qualification matches, we were ranked 6th out of 32 teams. During Alliance selection, Alliance 2 team captain FRC 1833 (Team BEAN) chose us as their first alliance partner and FRC 832 (OSCAR) as their second. Due to some technical issues in a few matches and an unfortunate penalty in one match, we were almost eliminated from playoffs. However, we fought hard through the challenges and made it to the finals. Sadly, we lost to Alliance 1 in the end. It was a great partnership with BEAN and OSCAR; we really appreciated their support and fighting spirit!
Additionally, we were presented with the Quality Award. The judges were impressed by the robustness in concept and fabrication of our robot. We were excited that they appreciated the design of our robot. We will continue to improve and repair Kaito (that’s our robot’s name) for our next challenge- the Gwinnett competition, which is two weeks away! Hope to see you there!
