PCH DCMP 2026 Recap

From April 9 to 11, our team went to Mercer University in Macon to attend the Peachtree District Championship. Our robot, unfortunately, had many issues, and at the end of qualification matches, we were ranked 26^th out of 46 teams. For alliance selection, we were picked by Alliance 8 Captains FRC 6023 (DISCBOTS) along with FRC 5109 (Gladiator Robotics). During playoffs, we were sadly eliminated in the double-elimination bracket, or round 2. We are deeply appreciative of our alliance partners and pit crew for this experience!

Additionally, our mentor Howard Evans was honored with the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award. This recognizes his effective communication in the art and science of engineering and design. The judges recognize his leadership, inspiration, and teamwork, all of which have a strong impact on our team.

At the end of DCMP, we finished the season in 11^th place of 75 teams in the Peachtree District.  With the district points we earned this season, we were invited to the FIRST World Championship. However, due to numerous reasons, our team declined this opportunity. Good luck to all the Peachtree District teams in Houston! We will see you at GRITS!
