With the Gainesville competition approaching, the team has been working hard on the REEFSCAPE robot. The Design students have finalized the robot design and are working on different drive train tasks such as the radio mount. Furthermore, the Fabrication subteam has finished building the robot!
Beginner programming students have been updating the scouting app for the team to use during competition. Advanced programming students continue coding our robot and have started testing the robot. The Electrical subteam completed wiring the robot, labeling the electrical system, and continue to refine any issues as they arise.
The Business subteam designing merchandise for the new season. We have also been posting lots on social media! Please check it out.
Finally, on February 15, we hosted our monthly STEM Night at the workspace. Students learned about the different types of bridges and how to construct the sturdiest bridge. Students then attempted to create strong, sturdy bridges using popsicle sticks and glue. We all had lots of fun with this activity.
